The daughter of an artistic and operatic mother, Maria Deganis traveled from the east coast in her early twenties to explore her education in the arts with an emphasis on design. Her passion for creating art blossomed in several stages from creating multi dimensional sculptures using her own hand made papers to unique abstract paintings. Her current medium of choice is acrylic paint on metal. Her sarin abstracts have been featured in several publications as well as designer showcase homes. These days Maria’s work can be found in the art collections of many Orange County premier homes and the corporate offices of a California based Fortune 100 company.
